Sirius and XM to merge
Normally I try to keep my blog reserved for internet-related topics (Social Networking, Google, Internet Marketing, etc), but this is a pretty major announcement that isn’t getting much attention. I spoke about this as a “what if” about a year ago at a seminar - people thought I was nuts. 
XM Satellite and Sirius Satellite announced Monday that they plan to join forces.
The deal, an all-stock merger worth about $13 billion, according to a statement, would create a single satellite radio giant with around 14 million subscribers.
The companies plan to reveal more details in a conference call on Tuesday.
