Web Resources

Over the past week, I’ve come across several very interesting sites. Rather than writing an entire post for each of them, I’ve consolidated them into one post. Have fun:
Zopa
Zopa calls what they do “Social Finance”. They want to change how money is shared (borrowed/loaned). “We will bring people together online so they can share money, easily, safely, and in a way that’s fun and meaningful.” All while avoiding big banks polished marble floors.
PartnerUp
PartnerUp’s core functionality centers around connecting entrepreneurially-spirited people who have common goals. PartnerUp helps entrepreneurs and businesses find the potential business partners, executives, board members, and skilled professionals that they need to make their venture a success. Concurrently, we help professionals (accountants, lawyers, and marketing people to name a few) find opportunities to become involved in helping to grow businesses by using their skills and experience. Finally, we provide a community for building lasting business relationships (and, in many cases, friendships) with others who share the same business and/or career goals.
KillerStartups.com
KillerStartups.com is a user driven internet startups community. Entrepreneurs, investors, and bloggers are staying informed on up-and-coming internet startups using our blog platform, where internet entrepreneurs submit their startup to see what others think about it.
RaiseCapital.com
The name says it all. RaiseCapital.com is an online community, where entrepreneurs can showcase their business ideas and capital needs whether a start-up or existing business to investors. Best of all, the service is free.
GetDropbox.com
Automatically syncs your data across many computers. Best of all, it’s web-based and available anywhere in the world.
